4all system: the integrated design that redefines the public washroom

Idral 4all system: water, soap and drying in a single Solid Surface module.
A traditional public washroom is made of separate elements: the basin in one place, the soap dispenser in another, the hand dryer in a third. Each component has its own connection, its own maintenance, its own wall space. The result is often a cluttered environment, difficult to clean and to maintain.
The 4all system by Idral was created to change this logic. Water, soap and drying united in a single wall-mounted module, in Solid Surface, with completely touchless technology. It is not just a product: it is a different way of designing the public washroom.
One module, three functions: the 4all principle
The concept behind the 4all Compact system (mod. 10575) is integration. A single wall-mounted module contains:
- Water dispenser with photocell control and presence detection
- Soap dispenser with integrated peristaltic pump
- Air hand dryer built into the module
The user approaches, washes their hands, lathers, dries — all at the same point, without moving and without touching anything. For the designer, this means a single wall installation point instead of three, fewer holes, fewer pipes, less bulk.
For the manager, it means maintenance concentrated at a single point: one product to inspect, one point to refill the soap, one element to clean.

Solid Surface: the material that defines the aesthetic
The choice of Solid Surface as the 4all material is no accident. It is a composite of natural minerals and acrylic resins, used in high-end interior architecture for seamless surfaces, integrated basins and cladding. The same material chosen for the custom basins at the Genoa Aquarium.
The aesthetic and functional properties of Solid Surface align perfectly with the demands of a quality public washroom. The surface is non-porous: it does not absorb liquids, does not stain, does not harbour bacteria. It is easily repairable: scratches and surface marks can be removed with simple sanding. And it offers a uniform, seamless finish that eliminates visible joints, creating a clean, contemporary visual effect.
The result is a module that does not look like a "public washroom product" but like a furnishing element integrated into the wall.
The design that simplifies the space
In a public washroom, every centimetre counts. The 4all system frees wall space by eliminating the need to install soap dispensers, paper towel holders and air dryers separately. A single installation replaces three different products, three fixing points and three suppliers.
This has a direct impact on the environment's aesthetics: fewer objects on the wall, fewer visible cables and pipes, less visual clutter. The washroom appears larger, cleaner, more refined. For an airport, a shopping centre or a hospitality venue, the perceived quality of the washroom is a direct indicator of the quality of the entire facility.
The wall installation, with all components accessible from above or behind, keeps the front of the module completely smooth and free of visible screws or openings.
Completely touchless: hygiene and system safety
The entire washing cycle — water, soap, drying — takes place without the user touching any surface. The photocell control with presence detection activates the flow automatically.
An additional advantage: since the user completes the entire cycle at the same point, without moving between basin, dispenser and dryer, the washroom stays cleaner and safer. Less water dripping on the floor, fewer wet surfaces, less risk of slipping — a particularly relevant aspect in high-traffic facilities.
Two integrated safety functions complete the system. The anti-vandal shut-off stops the flow after 1 minute of continuous use, protecting against misuse. The automatic anti-stagnation flush activates a rinse every 24 hours from the last use, preventing water stagnation in the pipes — a system safety function that requires no staff intervention.
The external 6V solenoid valve is inspectable and the 6V peristaltic soap pump is easily accessible. Power is supplied via an external 230V–6V adapter.

Accessibility: a design for everyone
The integration of all functions in a single point has a design advantage that goes beyond aesthetics: accessibility. A person with reduced mobility, an elderly person, a child — everyone can complete the hand-washing cycle without having to move between different points in the washroom.
The wall module can be installed at the most suitable height for the target users. In an airport or shopping centre, where the washroom must serve a diverse public, this flexibility is a project requirement, not an optional.
Where to use the 4all system
Airports and stations
Very high footfall, international public, elevated hygiene standards. The 4all concentrates all functions at a single point, facilitates cleaning and reduces the number of components to manage. The Solid Surface design communicates quality and modernity.
Shopping centres
The washroom is a touchpoint in the visitor experience. An integrated system with contemporary design raises the perceived level of the entire facility.
Hospitals and healthcare facilities
Touchless hygiene, automatic anti-stagnation, non-porous surface: the 4all meets the most stringent requirements of healthcare environments.
Schools and universities
A robust system with anti-vandal shut-off, easy to maintain, that teaches younger users a correct and independent way to wash their hands: approach, wash, dry, all at the same point.
Offices and corporate spaces
In commercial and corporate spaces, the 4all system brings the same aesthetic level to the communal washroom as to the reception areas. Solid Surface, clean lines, no accessories cluttering the wall.
The public washroom rethought
The 4all system is part of a broader Idral approach to public washroom design. It is not about supplying individual products, but offering integrated systems that simplify the project, improve the user experience and reduce management complexity.
