With more than 40 years of history, this pastry shop is a point of reference for its delicious creations. The recent renovation of the shop includes several Idral’s solutions for public bathrooms, with the aim of creating a hygienic, safe and accessible space.
The importance of hygiene, especially in the catering sector, is immeasurable. For this, they chose taps operated by infrared sensors which virtually eliminating the need to touch the devices, reducing the risk of cross-contamination. Water conservation is another reason to choose our “contactless” solutions, as the electronic taps only work when the user’s hands are in the active area of the sensor and only for a period of predetermined time.
Another very interesting aspect of these bathrooms is their accessibility. In fact, they have been designed to facilitate their use by anybody, even with limited mobility. Accessible toilets are, in fact, an absolute necessity for many people with disabilities. A crucial part of inclusive spaces, like this one, is providing design features that allow all users to use the bathroom as independently and safely as possible. For this reason, they installed taller toilets, which make it easier to get up and sit down, and ergonomic washbasin without column to leave the necessary space for wheelchair access, installed at a height that makes it easy to use.
