Thermostatic Mixer
The thermostatic mixer is the ultimate anti-scald guarantee. There are many solutions available: progressive lever, knob or under-basin mixers. Our thermostatic mixers are equipped with a thermostatic cartridge that allows safe regulation of the water temperature. Designed for public and commercial applications, thermostatic faucets perfectly regulate the temperature and ensure highly stable mixing of water at the desired temperature; they are very quick to react in the event of an interruption in the flow of cold water, minimising the risk of scalding for the user. Even in the event of a loss of pressure between the cold and hot water outlets, the temperature remains stable. To understand how they work, we can compare them with a traditional mixer. In classic models, two knobs must be moved or a lever turned to regulate the water flow according to the chosen temperature. Cold water comes from the waterworks and hot water comes from the boiler, which means that if someone else turns on a tap, the flows and water pressure alternate, creating the hot-cold effect in the shower. With thermostatic mixers this does not happen as a thermostatic valve regulates the temperature of the incoming water, ensuring an even and absolutely comfortable shower temperature.
