Safety features of the timed tap

The timed thermostatic tapmeets the need for safety and water saving. Thanks to its timed closure, in fact, it reduces water wastage and prevents scalding by interrupting the hot water supply very quickly in the absence of cold water. The timed thermostatic cartridge is in fact designed to guarantee a safety shut-off in the event of a lack of one of the two supply waters and is able to react very quickly to variations in pressure and temperature that may occur in a system. Constructed with state-of-the-art materials such as reinforced nylon and polysulphones, it ensures mechanical, thermal and anti-scale properties. The maximum delivery temperature of the timed thermostatic tap can be adjusted by means of a mechanical rotation block that is factory preset at 40°±1°, for Italy at 38°, and made inaccessible to the user for safety reasons.

Time-controlled faucets: ergonomics, versatility and hygiene

The pressure-discharge push-button control allows the timed faucet to be operated with a reduced stroke (1 mm) by reducing the pressure force required for activation. Mixing is controlled with a simple rotary movement of the handle itself: this allows for one-handed adjustment.

The single control also favours a design hitherto exclusive to classic 'single lever' mixers with ceramic disc cartridges.
