At Idral we are committed to research and continuous improvement of our products because this allows us to offer more efficient alternatives to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding and informed end user. The research and development processes we carry out for our taps and sanitaryware have a wide and varied spectrum of application. In fact, our innovation not only refers to the functionality of the products, but also to technology, design, materials research and respect for the environment.
Technological innovation
From this point of view, we are focusing on the digitisation of our taps, in particular on aspects such as remote control and big data in order to provide answers to current and important problems such as legionella, a bacterium that can threaten human life, and which has not yet been completely eradicated from water systems in public and private spaces.
Functional innovation
At Idral, we not only like to do things well, but we are constantly striving to improve products and processes. In fact, our technical department is always looking for new and better functionalities for our taps and sanitary fittings.
One of the achievements of which we are particularly proud, being a unique solution in the market, is the timed thermostatic cartridge, which is able to control both the time the water is open and its temperature in one small compact device, reducing the size of the timed thermostatic tap and opening up a horizon of possibilities for its application.
Another recent example of our research is the multifunctional '4all' washbasin, which combines the water, soap and air dispenser for drying hands in a single panel, facilitating the end-user experience.
Materials research
Working in almost 70 countries around the world, we have to respond to different material regulations and find specific solutions for each market.
This know-how allows us to know which materials and alloys best meet users' needs, to continue to improve our offer and to experiment with new materials.
This is why, for example, we have included in our range a line of taps and handles in stainless steel, a material ideal for wet environments.
Design innovation
Although the need for excellent product performance is a priority in public bathrooms, we know that these spaces are becoming more and more welcoming and aesthetically pleasing, where the user can find not only functionality and ergonomics, but also elegance and style.
This is why our research also focuses on design. One example is our satin black electronic faucet, which is ideal for adding charm and modernity to an open bathroom.
Respect for the environment
Water is one of the vital components for the sustenance and survival of life on earth, which is why one of our priorities is to develop solutions that save water and energy.
One example is the solar showers recently launched on the market that allow water to be heated by solar panels and are equipped with timed taps that reduce water wastage.
And these are just a few examples: our research work never stops in order to constantly offer innovative answers to the market and the end user.
If you don't believe us, put us to the test: we will be happy to propose solutions to your needs too!
