Design of the new 545 Electronic Taps
The taps in the NEW 545 electronic series are a winning and modern solution, a bathroom accessory that, like the furniture, possesses a simple but attractive functionality and aesthetics, making the public bathroom environment elegant and modern. The 545 line includes the TAP and MIXER versions.
The simple and attractive design, the ergonomic shape of the body and the extended position of the spout allow the 545 series products to replace the traditional swan neck tap, offering greater practicality of use and simplifying daily cleaning and maintenance.
The extended protrusion of the spout compared to traditional swan-neck products facilitates access to the water flow for the end user and increases the installation possibilities of the product. This is particularly useful if the tap is to be mounted on irregular or atypically shaped basins.
Ergonomic body shape
The surface is regular, rounded and scratch-resistant. This ergonomic, edge-free design makes daily cleaning by staff easier and faster. Today, this aspect is an important element of choice for public bathroom fittings.
The chrome plating provides resistance to chemicals and excellent durability.
Water and energy saving
Our proposed version combines three main features:
- 6 l/min outlet flowlimitation that defines a maximum flow rate to deliver the ideal amount of water for proper use and a water saving of over 70% compared to a traditional faucet;
- IR sensor programmed with PRESENCE DETECTION, capable of dispensing water as required;
- Low power consumption electronics and possibility of dual power supply (interchangeable) with 4 x 1.5V batteries in IP65 watertight housing and 230V-6V mains power supply equipped with backup battery and anti-blackout function.
Hygiene and Safety
- Bacterial prevention, no manual product contact to guarantee hygiene;
- Automatic anti-legionella cycle, programmed electronics with specific delivery;
- Anti-vandalism lock, the electronic part of the tap intervenes by stopping the water flow after 60sec. continuous dispensing;
- Low battery block, the tap does not dispense water if the voltage detected is insufficient to guarantee closure;
- Maximum temperature blocking, adjustable by authorised personnel through movement of the mixing rod;
- Body not in contact with water.
