The main market trend in recent years is theuse of colour as a surface finish, made possible by PVD technology, which offers greater creative freedom. This trend can also be found in the more technical products for public bathrooms, with a constant growth in requests. More and more frequently, our customers ask us to produce our articles in different colours, depending on the environments in which they will be installed. Designers, previously oriented towards coloured finishes only for private environments, now often prescribe such solutions for public bathrooms as well.
Thanks to our production flexibility, we are able to meet these demands even for small quantities, which gives us a distinctive advantage over our competitors.
Sustainability and innovation are two interconnected concepts, especially in the bathroom sector, and go hand in hand. It is no longer possible to talk about innovation without considering the issue of sustainability, both from a process and product perspective. For our part, at Idral, we are taking various measures to promote sustainability. In 2023, we activated our photovoltaic system, thus reducing energy consumption. We have reduced the use of plastic in our packaging, we use FSC cardboard boxes, we have completed the installation of LED lighting in our factory and we exclusively use filtered water dispensers. Often, technological innovation is more visible in the eyes of the user, but sustainability will become a decisive element in the choice of performance, especially when it is measurable or demanded. At that point, the market will take this direction even more decisively and systematically.
