Foot-operated taps: reliable, hygienic, economical and green

There are projects, such as professional kitchens or hospitals, where safety and durability of taps are a must. The ideal solution in these cases are Idral's pedal taps: simple, sturdy and with 40 years of history that validate the performance of a solution that is still highly relevant today.

The product that started...

Engineer Vittorio Vasconi and Giovanni Angiolini, founders of Idral spa in 1970, developed an innovative pedal water control system, which was patented in 1982. This faucet is the first of its kind, because it is a truly eco-friendly product, long before green became an unavoidable necessity. Discover the history of our pedal taps.

A range to meet any need, large or small

Our foot taps can be installed in small rooms because they require little space, but at the same time they can be used in large professional kitchens because they are extremely robust and are designed, manufactured and tested to withstand extreme conditions. To meet such diverse requirements, we have developed a complete range:

Go to series

Single-water taps with a foot pedal

The water supply is activated with a simple pressure of the foot on the pedal.

Mixers with two pedals

With independent water control, the water temperature is mixed by pressing both pedals.

Single-pedal progressive mixers

Pressing the foot on the pedal allows the flow rate and water temperature to be adjusted.

Wall-mounted or floor-standing alternatives are available, equipped with an automatic erogation block and a valve in self-lubricating anti-limescale material.

Idral pedal taps make the difference
