The construction of the kindergarten in Mesenzana (Varese) was completed in 2018. The project was developed with sustainability in mind, finding solutions to avoid waste and reduce energy and noise pollution. The structure was built thanks to a major donation of land and has a large park ideal for children. The construction is considered an optimal solution for concentrating up to a hundred children in a single building, built to the best standards currently available.
Luino architect Marco Panchetti Catenazzi, who was in charge of the project, positioned the building in such a way as to optimise heat and natural light and create an ideal environment for the children. "If in winter, in fact, when the sun is lower, the rays enter the windowed areas more easily, bringing light and warmth, in summer this happens but only partially. A safe school, with piped music and cabling in every classroom, which, in addition to the offices for the management, also has colourful and welcoming bathrooms for the children. Our Kids line was developed with children in mind to create spaces for play and fun. The taps are in fact cute and colourful characters, which also have the added value of reducing water waste thanks to infrared control. The accessories were designed with the needs of the youngest children in mind, which is why suitable sizes and colours were studied.
