The renovation of the bathrooms in the Piccinelli kindergarten in Varese was designed by Studio Associato IL LABORATORIO, which coordinated the project, to create an environment that is not only fun and colourful, but above all educational, where children can experience their relationship with water and hygiene.
In this space where colour, imagination and learning come together, IDRAL supplied the timed taps.
The project was born from the designers' idea of letting children experience what happens during the water cycle. Behind the washbasins, on a part of the wall, a blackboard was set up to allow the teachers to draw their explanations. The end result is a sort of theatrical set, consisting of a starry sky, clouds representing the condensation and evaporation of water, transparent pipes and Idral timed taps.
In this kindergarten, MINIMAL series timed washbasin taps with push-button control were installed. Besides being very easy to use, they guarantee maximum safety, creating a welcoming environment with simple and familiar shapes that invite play.
The faucet (Art. 08111) is operated via the top handle, but stops automatically after 15 seconds. The tap is also equipped with a 6 l/min flow limiter, which reduces water waste while ensuring maximum hygiene.
