Virgin Voyages' first cruise ship was built in Italy by Fincantieri, a company recognised for having built some of the most beautiful ships in the world. The project began in March 2017 and the ship was officially unveiled in 2020.
The Scarlet Lady has a tonnage of approximately 110,000 tonnes, is 278 metres long and 38 metres wide, and is equipped with more than 1,400 cabins capable of accommodating more than 2,770 passengers on board, assisted by a crew of 1,160 to ensure maximum comfort.
This ship is equipped with the latest technology for the control of all services, from the cabins to the areas open to the public.

This is why the bathrooms have been fitted with Idral 's STYLE series electronicceramic urinalswith battery power supply number 02524. Besides being aesthetically pleasing, in full "Virgin Voyage" style, Idral's electronic urinals save water and guarantee maximum hygiene as they detect the user's movement and release the water flow automatically only when necessary.
Moreover, having the infrared sensor, the urinal always stays clean, because it is flushed automatically and correctly without the use of hands, even if a person forgets to turn on the water flow. Finally, not having to come into contact with any surface helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
