From faucet conception to public bathroom design

Each new public bathroom project has its own unique characteristics and specific challenges. That is why at Idral we believe it is important to share our vision on the tap concept and above all to provide useful tools to simplify the design process of these spaces.

What does designing mean for IDRAL?

Designing, beyond the theoretical value of the term, consists in creating concrete objects that are part of our everyday life, that give shape to our gestures and our way of relating to the world.

The ''objects'' (intentionally the term used instead of tap) created by Idral represent the culture that the company itself wants to spread and is based mainly on two cornerstones: each product expresses the same attention to the environment, while the design thought synthesises design and simplicity in a tap with high technological efficiency. The latter, besides being a fundamental factor in the plumbing market, is above all an element in which the company firmly believes.

The urgent topicality of topics such as water saving, the use of materials from renewable sources, and energy optimisation, have given us a strong incentive to further improve on a production reality that has been selecting sustainable ideas for years.

At Idral, research-development represents a challenge with the aim of proposing solutions destined to become part of the user's everyday life. Think, for example, of how the current historical period has paved the way for the ''no-touch'' era in public space, revolutionising the way people interact with objects to protect their health.

''Making culture means reasoning from concrete experiences'', and in our opinion this is a starting point for the design of IDRAL, where usable and sustainable projects take shape.

Inspiration for the designer made easy

With this in mind, it must be taken into account that users' needs change from building to building, and Idral's products are designed to meet the specific needs of each user. This is why we provide many tools to facilitate the work of designing these spaces while saving time and effort.

First of all, we offer the support of a sales technician who can work alongside the designer at every stage, bringing experience, knowledge and, if required, developing customised solutions for taps and fittings.

In addition, we have BIM files of our products on our site that offer visibility, collaboration and efficiency of the designer's workflow, accessing information in the format they need without the need to duplicate data.

Professionals who are creating public and commercial services can access advice and inspiration on our site. In fact, there are more than 50 references of projects where our products have been installed, segmented by type of space:

  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Tourism and wellness
  • Restaurants and cafés
  • Sports and leisure
  • Commercial Buildings
  • Public buildings
  • Infrastructure
  • Private residences

We are at your service, make an appointment and we will be happy to help you choose the right taps and fittings for your project. You can contact us by completing this form, by phone on +39 0322 912017 or by email at tecnico@idral.it
