As already anticipated at the beginning of last year, we are experiencing a reversal of the growth trend that has characterised recent years, both in industry and in distribution. The figures for 2024 confirm this trend.
The distribution sector is constantly evolving, with a growing presence of purchasing groups and large retailers. In July 2024, Idral became part of the Roca Group, a global leader in the design, production and marketing of bathroom products. This strategic partnership allows us to strengthen our market positioning and enhance our innovative capabilities.
The acquisition by the Roca Group enhances the complementarity of our products with Roca's extensive portfolio, opening up new opportunities for growth globally. Together, we can offer sustainable, high-quality solutions for the public and commercial washroom markets, leveraging the Roca Group's international resources.
Trends and innovations
In 2025, we will continue to focus on design, colour and innovation, with an increasing focus on sustainability and controlled water consumption. In this field, Idral is already a benchmark in Italy, developing tailor-made solutions to meet market needs.
Our commitment to sustainability remains a top priority. In addition to the elimination of plastic and the use of FSC-certified cardboard, in 2024 we completed a Company Energy Diagnosis, with the aim of implementing an energy consumption monitoring system in 2025. In addition, we are optimising the air-conditioning of our office building with a view to eco-sustainability and progressively reducing the use of paper archives in preference to digital methods.
Commitments for 2025
2025 promises to be a busy year: in addition to preparing the new catalogue, which we will present by the end of the year, we will be present at the ISH international trade fair in Frankfurt in March, in a shared space with the Roca/Laufen Group. Furthermore, in April, we will participate in the Fuori Salone in Milan, a reference event for design.
We will continue participating in webinars, increasing our presence in digital marketing and offering ongoing training to our sales network. We will continue visits and training at our customers' points of sale, design studios, and organise visits to our factory, with on-site training courses.
