Normally when we think of foot-operated taps, hospitals or professional kitchens come to mind, but in reality the applications of this solution go further, as in the case of this restaurant that chose them for their bathrooms. In addition to being easy to use, durable and economical, foot taps reduce water waste, which translates into lower costs. In fact, by having to press the pedal with your foot to operate the water, you cannot forget the water running.
Foot-operated taps keep the essence of bathroom design intact
As far as the design is concerned, in this case we wanted to enhance the beautiful green furniture, and the option of placing a foot pedal instead of a traditional tap made it possible to respect the original character of the bathroom and make the basin more fun to use.
From a functional point of view, pedal taps reduce splashing water on the cabinet top because you do not need to use your hands to operate the controls, reducing the dangers of ruining it. Aesthetically, it also keeps the countertop tidier and gives a cleaner look.
