Punti di Vista Restaurant, Omegna

Lake Orta is a magical place, at the foot of the Italian Alps, where time seems to stand still. At the northern end of the lake is Ristorante Punti di vista, which enjoys a spectacular location on the Omegna lakeside. Born of the long experience in the restaurant business of the owners, Paola and Adriano, "Punti di vista" is a restaurant that blends "flavours, fragrances, music and voices": a creation of soul, substance and expertise.

The restaurant is cosy and elegant, the result of a careful renovation of a historic venue that combines the charm of the past with a modern, up-to-date vision. Design electronic taps by Idral were chosen for the bathrooms open to guests, for their essential and clean lines and their innovative touch-free technology that not only guarantees hygiene but also reduces water waste.

Design

In the renovation project, the bathrooms had to be an extension of the aesthetics of the premises to offer customers a space that is not only functional but also aesthetically attractive. Therefore, new 'Otto' electronic mixers with a modern design and state-of-the-art technology were installed. Since the sinks are placed on the countertop, mixers with an extension were used. The 'Otto' taps are designed and manufactured for the specific needs of public bathrooms and offer better performance for heavy use than conventional taps.

Sustainability and Hygiene

In a restaurant bathroom, hundreds of litres of water a year can be wasted due to incorrect use of taps or simple customer distraction. To avoid this, IDRAL's electronic taps with infrared sensors are the ideal solution, as they only dispense water when needed. In addition, they are equipped with an anti-vandal lock that automatically shuts off the flow after 60 seconds of continuous dispensing. These taps have a flow rate of 6 l/min (with restrictor), which is much lower than a conventional tap that can consume more than twice as much. Learn more by watching this video.

In addition, electronic taps help improve hygiene, as users do not have to touch the taps to turn off the water after flushing. They therefore prevent the spread of viruses and promote user safety. Furthermore, not having to touch the handles of the taps reduces the frequency of interventions required to keep the surfaces perfectly clean, limiting maintenance costs.
