Why an electronic tap in a service bathroom? Because the latter is an important calling card in any home and it is essential to design it to offer functionality, hygiene and comfort while minimising the effort to keep it tidy and clean, as there is less and less time to dedicate to the home.
The project we were involved in consisted of renovating the service bathroom on the first floor of a charming villa in Piedmont, a tangible example of a welcoming, modern and functional environment. The work made it possible to transform a room of just a few metres into a bright space thanks to a combination of architectural devices and technology.

The space in these rooms is usually limited, so the arrangement of the furniture, the colours and the products used are fundamental in creating a balanced solution. In this project, it was decided to use light colours, opalescent paints, mirrors and simple furnishings to give breadth to the space; one of its peculiarities was the decision to use electronic taps also for private use
Electronic bathroom faucet: why?
The owners opted for the ONE series photocell-operated electronic basin mixer with battery power. The aim was to ensure maximum hygiene in a space that is used by guests as well as family, and to minimise water waste. In fact, the electronic taps do not have to be touched to shut off the water flow, remaining clean for longer; they also have an ergonomic design that makes them easy to clean and reduce water consumption, as the flow is only delivered when hands are near the infrared sensor. The fact that the flow rate is pre-set results in a cleaner space in the bathroom, as closing the tap does not cause any splashing.
