Do they turn off the water as soon as you release the pedal?
All foot-operated taps include a progressive closing mechanism to protect against water hammer.
With the exception of models equipped with an automatic locking mechanism, closing is instantaneous.
Are they supplied with protective filters?
Yes, all our pedals are supplied with a stainless steel mesh filter to be installed in the power supply, and we recommend that stopcocks with integrated filter be provided to simplify cleaning and maintenance.
What is water hammer? Are the pedals set up against this stress?
Water hammer is a shock that is generated by the inertia of a fluid at the moment when the supply suddenly closes.
The pedals are made with a progressive closing system to avoid this phenomenon.
This phenomenon can be limited by creating a more linear water path.
Is the fastening kit included in the package?
Yes, the article comes complete with fastening.
